Not as far as i know?

No doubt a Yamaha dealer will tell you, the bike has to be serviced with them to keep the warranty valid.

But I still prefer to service my bikes myself, as I know it's done properly, nothing wrong with a overly serviced bike.

I don't plan on selling my bike any time soon, so it will be well out of warranty by the time I sell.

Yamaha Laguna Maidstone just quoted me £240... cheeky basterds.

Anything over £200 sounds wrong in my opinion. I'll definitely shop round

As said before it's easy to do yourself, did my 12,000/2yr service and it cost £55 for parts (used genuine Yamaha parts/oil) ;)

Different countrys, different expectations...
The 10k km/6k miles service was at somewhere around 210£, and the 20k km/12k miles service for me ended up at 468£.... ;)
But got a bargain on the original Tracer heated grips - only 146,43£ vs 196,9£ asked... :D

Not being vat registered and not using OEM part WILL void the warranty if you have any engine problems you will have to pay, but you do not have to serviced by Yamaha just used the oem parts. Why would you risk it seems madness
