I'm on my third cam chain tensioner. And fourth is on its way

What issues have you had?

Mine still on the original tensioner, after 7k miles.

Mine started to rattle badly for a little while, but I managed to cure it myself. It was by accident but found it worked. An it doesn't rattle anymore.

What did you do to get it sorted? Would be handy to know in case mine plays up :P

Well.......

I was riding home after work one day, taking the long way home via the tight twisties as you do.....

I somehow managed to knock it down a gear whilst moving my foot round to try and go up a gear.

It over revved it slightly and hit the rev limiter for no more than a second, it sorted it.

What happened with it was because I'd over revved it it had caused the tensioner to spring back into place like it should have done in the first place.

I got home and stripped the top of the engine off and the tensioner to check everything, and all was good.
