Standard screen is fine for me, guess I'm in a minority :shock:

advman, I have tried your "tip" with the locknuts...plus a nylon washer under the knob [needed to file a flat on one side] & after a 40mile test ride it does seem to have worked!! so many thanks for your tip :D ....the tiny circlips were a pain to refit though ;)

Just to add....IF? the knob assembly needs to come off again,I will replace the circlips ,by either drilling & fitting small split pin or thread the end to fit a small nut !.....the circlip removal/replacement (for me) was a pain . :x

Hey no probs.. ;) I also took the 'plastic triangle things' off as well cause they seem to rattle :D

Any 2017 Tracer owners having this problem with loose adjuster knob [s]....I wonder if Yamaha know about this & have done a mod to sort it :idea:
