My Tracer

Postby KeithR » Sat Feb 20, 2016 10:06 am

Here are a couple of photo's of my bike. If anybody wants to see photo's of my trip to the Pyrenees, I went with WhiteRose Motorcycle Tours who organised everything, hotels, routes (they even give you the routes as GPX files) and even most meals were included. It's a great way to meet new riders and have a bit of laugh during the evenings. The link is http://www.motorcycletours.co.uk/galler ... Brava+2015
I didn't have the Ermas screen or the Givi top box when I went, but mine was the only Tracer. Enjoy!!

Smart looking bike there. The Givi V47 goes with the bike really well. To be honest anything smaller just not going to be practical as I regularly fit my waterproof over clothes and helmet in there. The rack is very neat without the box too.

Looks great!

How do you find the Kriega tank bag fitting thing-a-ma-bob ?

I might look a bit obsessed if I buy another Kriega bag mind...

Hi Jamwheel, the Kriega thingy-me-bob is fine. It took about 5-10 minutes to install on the bike. Their 10 and 20 litre bags are great.
I used to have a Ducati Streetfighter before my Tracer and I used the 10 and 20 litre bags together and seperate on the back of the bike
and on the tank. I've used them both on the Tracer aswell, but now that I have the Top box I'll only be using them on the tank.
I've used the 10 and 20 litre bags on the tank without any problems. They are waterproof and the zip pocket on the top is also great
for holding credit cards and passports when travelling. :)

I have a US20, a US10 as a tank bag seems tempting...

You guys are putting ideas into my head. I've never used one but have tried an Oxford tank bag on the tracer just on magnetics. I know it's not secure but I won't be pulling wheelies on my commutes.

I've never been that happy with the quality of Oxford products.

The Kriega gear is really nicely thought through and seems very durable.

Hi Keith, how does the front end feel when the topbox is on,
does it feel light.

Hi Griff1971,

Sorry didn't reply sooner, but I've been away.

Re the topbox, no, it doesn't affect the front end feel at all. So far I haven't noticed that its
attached to the bike at all. It's my 1st bike that I've added a topbox, and, I wish I had had one sooner.
