The Hebrides Tracer

Postby Maczone54 » Wed Apr 04, 2018 6:33 pm

Hello fellow tracer riders :D

Got my 2017 tracer a couple of weeks ago and I'm loving it :D
I decided to upgrade my XJ6 Diversion a couple of years early when I got a boost to my Credit rating, I just really didn't feel the same about my XJ6 Diversion as I did with the FZ6 I had previously had, with the XJ6 being a replacement to the FZ6 which I came off on black ice.
I did love my FZ6 and probably wouldn't have upgraded but being written off (Frame damaged!) although the XJ6 uses the same engine (R6) and both were great for short range touring with up to 200 miles to the reserve, I just felt the XJ6 was...well Meh! and when I get the XJ6 I started looking at what I would upgrade too in the years to come, and I first looked at the MT07 tracer which I thought looked bloody great, I then started to hear a lot about the MT09 tracer which sounded more up my street being a 50+ rider. I do so love my comforts so I set my heart on a tracer 900 as my next upgrade (in a few years)

However after my credit rating boost I looked into getting a pre-registered (2017) tracer on a PCP deal which is very affordable. My initial thoughts were PCP deal and then buy the bike outright instead of waiting a couple of years with a bike I just didn't love then buying a second hand tracer.

I was fortunate to find a cracking 2017 pre-registered tracer in blue (ex demo) with only 900 miles on the clock, fitted heated grips, comfort seat, tank protectors and engine sliders/guard.

So delighted with my choice.
