Re: Setting suspension sag

Hi See my report on suspension settings. I am about 80 odd kilos (!3st) without riding kit. Try them, I think you will be surprised.

Suspension Settings MT09 Tracer 2016

I have recently adjusted my suspension front and rear to settings recommended by a well known suspension expert, as used by MCN testers. It severely reduces the harshness received from the pothole laden roads of today. It also settles the bike at the front on heavy braking. I am 13st undressed. REAR...

Meeting Tracer Owners

Hi Is anyone in the East Anglia region interested in meeting up for a chat and perhaps lunch. We could meet and ride together. Or go our own way and meet up at a mutually agreed destination.
regards Mike Colchester

Hi from Colchester Essex

Hi I have held a motorcycle licence since 1957 and apart from a short break in the 60s and 70s I have ridden every year. Several bikes have come and gone and the Tracer is my first new bike since 2002. I use my bike on the continent of Europe and have done a solo holiday to the Czech Republic and ba...

MT09 Tracer 1 Sept 16

Hi
Treated myself. First new bike in 14 years. Was waiting in my garage for the 1st Sept 2016. Absolutely delighted in solo or pillion mode.
A few extras. Givi engine bars. Louder horn. Tank bag and side cases.

Re: Speedometer under read .

Hi My speedo definitely says I am travelling faster than my sat nav speed. This is also the case if I compare the sat nav with the car speedo but is much closer. 1 or 2 mph only. Dont worry go by the speedo and it will keep you legal. Regards Mike
