Welcome to the forum linden. I have had low revving bikes previously too, but I kind of like the buzz from the Tracer. I reckon any whine is only because it wants to go faster! I resist that urge, well most of the time!

Welcome aboard Mike. Hopefully you'll enjoy the Tracer. I tried a VFR800 Crossrunner (+ a few others) before arriving at the Tracer, I found the VFR too heavy, & the Tracer definitely better value for money. Have fun!
